The number depends on your risk assessment. For low-risk environments (like an office), you generally need one first aider for every 50 employees. For higher-risk workplaces, you need one for every 50, but additional trained personnel are required if you have shift work or spread-out sites.
No! While we do run open courses for individuals, our primary service is Corporate In-House training. We can deliver courses directly at your premises anywhere in the UK, provided there is a suitable room for practical assessments.
A First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate is valid for 3 years. The HSE strongly recommends taking an annual refresher course, but you will need to complete a 2-day requalification course before the 3 years expire to remain valid.
